I'm expecting the duo of Kiser and Littleton to be dynamic in the base defense. I expect the duo to be so good that it may force Phillips to rethink if he wants to deploy both in his nickel packages.

Re: Only two starting spots on Rams' O-line are currently settled

I think Allen ultimately will be an upgrade from Sully, but losing Saffold just can't be replaced. Noteboom will be fine but Rodger Saffold just bullied people last year. Safold has been really good lately, question is did the Rams move on from him at the right time? I think they did since Safold w...

Now we will find out exactly how this Collusion investigation started. The indictments will be coming, possibly all the way to crooked Hillary herself. The collusion was between the Obama administration, crooked Hillary, top officials at the FBI, and their willing stooges in the left wing media. Sho...

Whitworth, Noteboom, Allen, Blythe, Havenstein, Left to Right. Rams have had this plan in place for over a year.

Those wacky dems

What a week. Trump has bitch slapped them from one end of Washington to the other. Great week. At least the Dems got a little kentucky fried. When Nancy, Cluck, and Nodler are leading the way you know it won't end well for that group. Trump in 2020. MAGA.

Re: Only two starting spots on Rams' O-line are currently settled

The Rams have spent 2 3rd rounders, a 4th rounder, and a 5th on O linemen the past two drafts. How much more draft capitol should they use? You can't start 5 1st rounders. I don't get why some think the Rams aren't doing enough about the line. They've had a plan in place since the previous draft.

Rams probably did him a favor. Now he has more time to find a new team. With Rapp playing in the box in nicked situations neither Countess or Christian figures to see the field much on Defense.

Re: How can McVay improve?

We talked about this last off season. I thought McVay needed to "evolve" his scheme a little bit. He didn't really and the Rams were just as good last season if not better. For the Rams and McVay this season it could be about how effective they will be if Gurley is not available for stretches here a...

Re: Rams Post Draft Grades, Etc.

We've used a lot of draft capitol on the O line the past two drafts. Two 3rds, a 4th, and a 5th. You can't plug a first rounder at every position.

Re: Austin Blythe might be Brian Allen's only competition at center

Rams run mostly a zone scheme so power is nice, but getting off blocks and to the second level is key. Rams run some gap but not much. Blythe will be even better this season. Having an undrafted free agent starting is a win win.

The Rams under Fisher as an orginization weren't committed to building a winner till they got to Los Angeles. Knowing they were leaving St. Louis made it hard to get the best coordinators which didn't help. Bradford not staying healthy and not developing like everyone thought he would didn't help ei...

Re: Rams Pick Washington DT Greg Gaines at #134

Gaines is a nice scheme fit for the defense. A lunch pail guy who doesn't mind eating up blocks. Brings some pass rush too. Can see QB's trying to avoid Donald only to have Gaines waiting for them.

Re: WHY RAPP OVER THORNHILL?

When you compare players you have to project how they match up within your division. Kittle is a matchup problem and maybe Phillips feels that Rapp is a guy he can put on him in passing situations.

Re: Austin Blythe might be Brian Allen's only competition at center

The Rams know who the starting 5 are and the draft picks reflected that. McVay knows how important it is to go into ota's knowing who your starting 5 guys are so they can get into sync and be ready for the regular season. The two picks this year will get practice reps during the season and one may b...

Re: Gurley is Damaged Goods

Can't wait for people to eat their words on Gurley this season, he'll be fresher, stronger and a force in the playoffs. Agreed TG can no longer be a 30 plus touches a game guy, but he'll still be a 20 plus touches a game guy and be just fine. More like 15 touches running and receiving a game. Or le...

Fowler and Matthews will be the nickel edge guys this season. Even if the Rams had a top 15 pick rushers take time to develop and none were likely to give you more than Matthews will this upcoming season.
