Re: Goff's Horrible TD/INT Ratio

Other teams fans don't fear him, don't respect him and the media certainly doesn't. Well, I'd certainly like to see the direct quotes supporting these claims about Jared Goff, otherwise I'm figuring that they're "alternative facts" as well. Blake Bortles and Jared Goff have each been in a position ...

Re: Goff's Horrible TD/INT Ratio

Goff must improve if we want a Lomardi. He has bad games, not throws. He's either on or off.. no consistency. Fumble machine to boot. I bet Wolford could do better. Lol not sure Wolford could do better. But I would like to see what bortles could do working with mcvay. Imo, bortles is underrated and...

That's a point-blank ridiculous belief, what evidence is it based upon?

Re: Goff's Horrible TD/INT Ratio

I think it's revealing that whenever this comes up and some people say the qb should rise to the challenge, no one names examples of that happening. I could only think of 2, and they couldn't always pull it off. In contrast we have seen plenty of games where the Rams pass rush was dominant enough t...

Re: Goff's Horrible TD/INT Ratio

Goff needs to get over his self-satisfied love relationship he has with himself and realize he has some serious work to do if he is to become an elite QB. I want him to succeed but another lackluster year won't cut it. Go Rams From all I've read about, and heard him talking about, Jared Goff isn't ...

Sam Bradford and Jeff Fisher? He wasnt given much. Well, actually it was Sam Bradford and Steve Spagnuolo, which was arguably worse. However, Pat Shurmur had managed considerably better with that same QB/HC combination the year before... :) 8-) ram pathos... Hey, he also had Rodger Saffold W...

Re: If we wanted a FA RB...

Hope there is a 3rd or 4th round bruiser RB like Henry or Lynch. 3 or 4 yards a pop is what we need. Loves contact. Makes Defenses groan in the 4th quarter. Doubt we use our 2nd rounder on such a player. Ideally our team would draft a road-grading mauler at center with that selection, which would h...

Re: Plaschke: Rams Must Trade Gurley

again the only way he isn't a ram is if they cut him. have you seen his contract???? Agreed--I don't believe that Todd Gurley will be released either, I'm expecting our team's coaches to work with him so as to give him the best possible shot to 'bounce back' during the 2020 season. He may never rec...

crazy game for sure. I thought for sure Texans were going to win. O"Brien should be fired just for calling that fake punt. terrible call that cost them dearly. At the end of the day Mahomes made a ton of plays and the Texans defense didn't show up in the 2nd half. embarrassing loss for Houston A lo...

Re: Plaschke: Rams Must Trade Gurley

Disagree wholeheartedly. If Gurley is a head case no one but armchair GMs are talking about it. If he is done why did he get stronger as the year went on? If it’s better to eat 25m in cap rather than keep a 1,000 yard rusher (ave. 1,080 yds per year over 5 years with 58 TDs) with double digit TD pr...

What is Ram pathos?
It describes my reaction to our team's overall performance for the 2019 season--disappointment and sorrow, possibly a touch melodramatic yet quite real.

It a was tough year based on my preseason expectations for the Rams... :( :ugeek:

Re: Vikings had no business in the playoffs

What an awful showing in a playoff game...The Saints have to be absolutely sick watching that game. Saints would have been a much better game. This should fuel McVay to do better next year because the Rams can beat the 49ers even now Based on the 2019 regular season, no they can't. During the '20 s...

Re: Should we want SEA and SF to lose?

Well, in theory one of them losing in Super Bowl LIV might well produce the supposed 'hangover' next year, so in that case as Rams' fans we should want one of them to reach the Super Bowl yet then lose. However, as a true-blue fan of our team I'm hardly in the habit of cheering for the 49ers and/or ...

Or choose not too. Everyone is pathetic and needs to get their ass straight now or get rid of them. You can’t deny th...

Re: Bones out too?!

I agree as a whole McVay did not look great. BUT I was encouraged by how we finished. 28 pts vs. Seattle, 31 vs. SF (in Santa Clara) and 31 vs. an upstart Cards team. Seems like he found a rhythm with booting Goff more and getting Higbee involved. SF game #1 vs. game #2 was a STARK improvement. Rig...

Re: Will they screw up uniforms?

Ok here it is, dark royal blue, not navy, royal blue, sunshine yellow and white. What do you think? "Dark royal blue" is an oxymoron, isn't it? Royal blue is bright, not dark--if it's dark, then it's navy blue, or possibly midnight blue (extra dark). "Sunshine yellow" apparently means light orange....

Re: New colors, HELMETS coming...Horns better stay!!!

Ummmm, the St. Louis-initiated uniforms (2000-15) were navy blue and gold, although the colors were formally referred to as 'millenium blue' and 'new century gold.' Our team's Super-Bowl-winning uniforms were royal blue and canary yellow, going way back to 1973, when of course the Rams were playing...

Re: Will they screw up uniforms?

Apparently yes, the Rams' organization will be employing a slight variation on the Bears' colors, dark blue and orange, which are downright unattractive from my perspective. Los Angeles is considered a bright place with plenty of sunshine, which is why our team's Super-Bowl-winning colors are perfec...

Re: Wade out

Wade's D held the Patriots to 13 in the SuperBowl and McVay's offense scored 3. If McVay did his job as OC, Wade would still be employed. Then again, one could argue that if Wade Phillips had done his job as defensive coordinator this past season, in a home game vs. the Buccaneers plus key road div...
