Henderson pick confirms our worst fears..
Todd is toast. Only reason he sticks around is because he signed a premature guaranteed contract.

Hate this draft

Les is regressing to Fisher era blunders.

You're a blunder.

LOL. Look, Insurance policies are never a “blunder”, just expensive and at times a luxury. I’d rather have a weapon like Henderson to score 5 TDs a year than search the waiver wire in the 16th week of the season.

If we took a DE, people would be crying for a S. If we took a C people would bitch about RB depth. I’ve said my faith in Matthews and Peters is not high but they addressed one and I will have some faith McVay and Wade have the youngsters ready at LB & DE. We can always use Oline and DLine depth. Day 3 coming up.

Many opined that we would learn the extent of Todd gurley's injury by watching what we did in the draft. Now we have our answer. Rams selected a running back early and this alone suggest that Todd gurley's career is likely over.

If you feel Gurleys career is likely over, then why would you call the most explosive RB in the draft a "blunder"?

I have to agree with you there about Davis and Kelly. But drafting a RB is a needed move. Our success was based off a strong ground game, including short passes out the backfield. On paper we appear solid at that position but...Gurley obviously is injured, no doubt about that anymore but let’s not forget, Brown is coming off an injury too. So let’s hope by our bye week, I think week 9 we have a healthy backfield with some depth for the playoffs! Assuming we make it to the playoffs... never like to predict until preseason is over!

Can't wait for people to eat their words on Gurley this season, he'll be fresher, stronger and a force in the playoffs.

Guess the Rams don't like your boys Kelly and Davis either.

This RB looks explosive. Both Davis and kelly had their opportunities last year and didn't succeed. This is a production business. It's pretty easy to see if people can produce at this level or not. Kelly and Davis were solid in the Pre Season, but when they were needed when Gurley got injured they were so useless they had to sign a street free agent. No surprise there at all.

This

Kelly and Davis are not homerun hitters.
Darrell is explosive home run hitter that defenses must respect.
I expect for Darrell to be used like Tavon was. Many misdirection plays with TG on the field. Opposing teams must respect Darrell explosiveness which will open more for TG.

Henderson looks like he has star potential. Highlights show him running away from and around defenders. Won't be easy to do in the NFL

As a receiver he looks promising. McVay has a shiny new toy weapon.

Excellent pick.

Agreed
TG can no longer be a 30 plus touches a game guy, but he'll still be a 20 plus touches a game guy and be just fine.

More like 15 touches running and receiving a game. Or less.

So OP hates the draft in this thread that he started but gives the draft an “A” in another thread that he started. What a bleeping clown.

Of course we are hoping he helps with taking the load off of TD...which by the way a lot of us pondered all season, play Kelly or Brown when we had him...need to spell TD and let him shine...because he is awesome...
