Sean McVay: 'Mike Thomas has really separated himself' in WR battle

By:Cameron DaSilva

Whether the Los Angeles Rams keep five or six wide receivers this season, it sounds like Mike Thomas will be one of them. He hasn’t yet secured a spot on the 53-man roster, but he’s on his way to doing exactly that.

Thanks to a strong few weeks of practice and an overall solid offseason, Thomas is ascending up the depth chart. He’s someone the Rams are once again excited about at wide receiver, hoping he can tap into his potential and become a contributor.

Well it has taken a while. Your right Ants, will be great to have him contribute. I liked what I saw of Bachman, I hope we PS him. We are very solid here, I don't know if any other teams can match it

I am not sure we are going to be able to sign Woods, Kupp and Goff (with so much already invested in Cooks) so we need one of these young receivers to emerge.

it might be smart to draft a WR late next year and give him some time to develop. thomas will be a FA and before you know it, so will kupp and reynolds. reynolds could start for a lot of teams so he's gone for sure. i think they'll keep kupp.

keep trying to upgrade the #5 and #6 WR and we may hit on someone.

I would keep Thomas and Hodge over Natson.

I agree. I'd like to see Webster step up too
