Lions bringing in Malcolm Brown for a look. Rams only have the right to match the offer. If Brown signs with the Lions and the Rams don't match then they get nothing in return. No draft pick.

If he goes. Cj stays. They know they need a reliable back to share the load with Gurley

Call me crazy but something tells me Marshawn Lynch may be of interest for a year.

Crazy. I hope we retain Brown. I like his upside and overall ability. Prob even more than CJ. We gotta keep him IMO.

Patricia is the lions coach and he's smart enough to know how valuable Brown is in pass pro. Not sure he get's out of Detroit without a contract.

This isnt the first time a restricted FA of our visited other teams. Do you guys remember when Benny Cunningham visited the Pats before signing his tender to return in 2016.

Also, am I the only that wants us to pull our tender from Troy Hill

I’ll second that and said such earlier this week. Time to move on from Troy Hill.

Speak for yourself. Put me down as wanting Lynch to spell Gurley.

He will get a contract offer. He earned one. If its not outside the range the Rams are willing to pay they can match it. If Detroit decides to offer a contract outside the range the Rams can match he will be a Lion. Malcom Brown is a very valuable player for the Rams. This is his opportunity to get paid. Hope he gets a good contract that the Rams can match. A win win for both. We will see. I would take Malcom over CJ any day.

I’m not saying I want him even though I really don’t care. Living here in the Bay Area he was respected by the Raider fan base and the Raiders. It’s the past groin issues with me. I’m just saying connect the dots..................

Read somewhere where Brown had a higher average gain per run than Gurley. I realize he had fewer attempts but....

On the Troy Hill thing Bye Bye !

Hard worker, tries to learn but is just plain unreliable is his coverage skills (at this point in his career anyways)..

Let him go and sign CJ. CJ earned his contract with last year's play.

I actually thought about that earlier this year...not a bad idea

CJ proved he can carry the load if TG is down...Brown really hasn't shown me that. I like Brown and would like him back but it may just be an either/or situation and if Brown gets offered a big raise to go elsewhere he just may go.

I would like to see both CJ and Brown back but they are similar type runners and I just don't see it happening.

I'm not high on Lynch....but if the price is right I wouldn't scoff at that.

I don't want Lynch either...and I think CJ and Brown are a push...Brown being a little cheaper, imo

I’ve always liked Brown, but it’s not been clear that he’s the most durable player. Granted, he’s played the same years as Gurley and hasn’t been given enough game-time opportunities to toughen up, but I’m not sure he can be relied upon as much as Anderson. 2017 = 11 games; 2018 = 12 games, all limited action
