Rams only team to sit out free agency, eye compensatory picks again

Bill Barnwell@billbarnwell

Third day of free agency and the only team not to sign a free agent who would qualify for compensatory picks is … the Rams

Discipline. A plan. A philosophy.

This is how you build, long term.

I like the plan. Draft in so important at this point. Every year your strategy for fielding the best squad possible is a bunch of moving parts. Last year it was trades, this year it will be about drafting the best players in what's shaping up to be a deep draft.

Looking at the Comp Picks,,, There were a total of 13 3rd round comp picks with four teams losing one 3rd round comp pick each.... because of signing FA that are equivalent for comps...

If the league stays with a total of 13 3rd round picks... then its possible the RAMs can move back up with two third round picks... If my math is correct...

we parlayed one of those comp picks for Fowler, maybe we trade up with another one into the second round?
