NFL Draft 2020

5) Running back needs depth
4) Fullback Position
3) No guarantee RB Brown will remain
2) No help from future reserve contracts
1) RB Henderson change of pace role not suited to be the featured running back..

goff definitely has to have a very good running game to succeed to I do believe rb is a very important position to fill on draft day.

Only bc HmDH is fast doesnt mean he is just a change of pace back. He does run through arm tackles too.

5) TRue,,,,depth being the key word...I can see them drafting a later round depth RB
4) Don't really see a commitment to the FB within McV's scheme.
3) He's under contract for 2020
2)
1) Why not? This is the real meat and potatos of this post IMO

Without a great oline the run game will suffer no matter who is the RB. Just to make the point CJ Anderson.

i expect a RB as high as 3rd and as low as 6th but make no mistake, we have bigger priorities. as malibu pointed out, an OL makes the running game go. it also protects goff and gives him time. aside from OL and RB this draft is all about the defense. ILB/Edge/DL/CB/S

One thing the RB must do besides run and catch he must block Gurley was really good at all three.

My take. Offense will be great going forward. Last thing McVay needs is a number one type running back. Goff, Offensive line, and weapons. That's how it should be viewed.

No on drafting a RB. They are not difference makers for the most part (a few are yes). So the idea we draft a real difference maker is low. The OL makes RBs better. Draft in the trenches. DH and MB or whoever will do fine if there's a hole to run thru.
